It's Almost Here
I wrote this when I first started my blog:
As the waves crash on the shore at the sight of the first sun of the day, the world is awaken with new life with a new beginning serving a new purpose.
Greg
It means just as much now and no matter where I am, especially in Hawaii. Waking up in the morning with the fresh air and starting each day with a new purpose. Each purpose being living life to the fullest and making each one a lifqual day.
Have a lifqual day everybody.

A Face Without A Face
The article leads me into my next story. The water and our world outside the water is like to different worlds. Could you imagine looking down in the water and seeing and seeing yourself empty. Empty meaning not having a face. No emotions will ever be heard. Words could never hurt. Vision would never impede a stereotype of the person in front of you. We would all adapt to the new environment somehow, or die trying. A face without a face would be a world without a gun.
A world without a face, hmmm, makes you wonder. Have a lifqual Monday, before you know it, the weekend will be here once again. Be safe and enjoy the lifqual.

Love
A girl I dated in high school was the love of my life. It was more than a teenage love affair. I wasn't infatuated, it was love. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. I had our lives and our future all planned out. Then right before graduation, she broke with me. I was destroyed. It was like running a million miles per hour and running straight into a brick wall. It was unexpected. Theirs still a place in my heart for her. No matter how hard I try to fill it, it ends up empty. I haven't seen her since graduation and I've always wanted to see her again. Perhaps it will stir up old memories. Maybe it's best that we never see each other. For all I know, she could want me even more and I would never know because I feel and fear that seeing her again would hurt me again. Love.
All this love talk makes me wanna call my girlfriend back home. Find love on this lifqual Friday. Enjoy yourself and have a lifqual day.

Wish I Was There
I hope everybody has a safe Wednesday in South Texas & North Mexico. For some, this is a weather event some of us wish never happens. For me, a surfer, these things make our lives better. The waves are best the day before the hurricane hits. When it's there then you have to worry about the rain and loose things hitting you which makes surfing a lot harder. If I was back in Florida then I would've gone to Texas, but I'm still in Hawaii. Surfing is more than a sport to me, it's a lifestyle, like eating food and drinking water. It's my passion. Have a lifqual day everybody, especially the people in the path of THE HURRICANE.

Bittersweet
The rain showers always seem to never end
Forgetting the pain isn't easy to do
Looking in the mirror at my bruise I wonder who
Life for me was never meant to be this hard
For my life has no safe exit and is always barred.
For some people, the lifqual is a little hard to come by. But never fear, the sun is breaking through your clouds and the lifqual will return. Have a great day.

Taking one Day @ a Time
We are all living in the future. Slow down, take a breath and look at your life and live one day at a time. You're too good to let your life rule you. Take advantage of the things you take for granted and see the beauty that it has bestowed in front of you. Peace and happiness is available and is free to all that wants it, it's just up to you to take it or leave it. Take a vacation from life and go somewhere you always wanted to go. Relax at 6:39 a.m. and view the sunrise in front of you and know in your mind that this kind of life is yours. The only thing you need to do is take one day at a time and you'll experience "the lifqual" everyday. Fulfilling and relaxing is the way we need to go about our day, not stressful and unhappiness. Have a lifqual Tuesday!

Necessity
I've learned to cut down on my expenses just to live here in California for the summer. I bought a bike and ride it to work or walk. Get fit while you do your work. Enjoy your day and have a lifqual day.

Shark Attack
Now what may deter me a little bit is that I am in California right now for a trip and somebody just got killed by a shark today @ Solana Beach. News travels fast especially since it was a shark attack. I heard it within a couple of hours after it happened. It's about 50-60 miles from where I am but I was going futher towards southern California this weekend to surf a little bit. Sharks tend not to be fatal, it's just a what you call a miscommunication with real food and the one that they usually do not eat. Regardless, who are we to tell what they can and can't eat. It's a risk all of us has to take whenever we go out in the water. And it's an uncommon risk, but when it happens, it's big.
I'd like to send my condolences out to the family and friends of the man who lost his life today. Everybody, be safe & have a lifqual day.
